As a professional within the performing arts for over 22 years I’ve been lucky enough to work with some of the world’s biggest brands and celebrities. Starting out as a highly polished professional dancer, ISTD Trained in Ballet Modern and Tap at Laton Ash studio’s in Hastings East Sussex. For 15 years the brilliant Pauline Ash and her excellent team of teachers (including Jackie Hutt & Donna McLaughlin) trained me in the dance skills and mind set I needed to go onto to become what I am today. I
I have these amazing women to thank for the career I have had and am having now.
I have taken my passion to choreography, where for the past 14 years I have operated as Creative Director at The IT Girls.
I also undertake independent choreography work in a wide range of sectors and disciplines.
As a professional dancer I have been lucky enough to work with some of the world’s top choreographers, from whom I have learned a so much!
The dancing work was diverse and exciting. I’ve performed on huge luxurious cruise ships in spectacular shows, trained Cabaret & Burlesque in Paris and even became a principal dancer for the legendary Lido de Tournee.
I frequently danced on Top of the Tops and The Brit awards and appeared at festivals alongside stars such as Take That, Holly Valance, The Prodigy & Westlife. In the world of fashion industry I even opened catwalks and joined runway walks, all very exciting!
Throughout all of these amazing experiences I have always had a keen eye on how choreographers and creative directors bring a vision to life, and execute that vision impeccably.
With what I had learned, at the age of 26 I founded the IT Girls, now in its 14th year and still going strong. As Creative Director for the IT Girls I have had the pleasure of working with top brands including:
From high tech TV studios and super yachts, to exclusive ski resorts and Sir Richard Branson’s back garden; you name it, I’ve choreographed a show that is perfect for the space and venue!
I have a timeless signature style that has been described as Fosse meets Moulin Rouge, working with girls to bring out a feminine side as they perform. I’m also a huge aficionado of feathers, there’s just something about the elegant way an Ostrich feather fan moves that makes it the perfect dancing partner!
It’s hard to remember how many corporate and private parties I have helped bring creativity to with my choreography. On the corporate side I have worked with JCB, Land Rover, Schwarzkopf, Sony, Panasonic and Coca Cola to name just a few. Privately, I have helped organise events everywhere from millionaire’s super yachts in the Mediterranean, to luxury private chalets in the exclusive mountain resort of Verbier!
I look forward to creating more amazing shows as I believe …
‘Creativity never goes out of style’ ….
